Cherie Parker

Cherie Parker is American, born into SL on September 26, 2006. A professional photographer who runs her own business specializing in realism photo techniques.  In addition Cherie is an active model with many SL modeling agencies and co-owner of Virtual Worldwide Media and Scruplz Publications an in world magazine focusing on artistic endeavors in Second Life.


In addition to modeling and print work, she has earned recognition and respect in the field of photography in Second Life since she began her career as a full time photographer in SL in 2007.


Coming from a background in the SL fashion industry, Cherie has used that experience and knowledge to better her photography and help others when teaching various classes  in SL.


An oil painter in first life working professionally creating reproduction Renaissance art, Cherie learned to use a stylus over a paint brush and has been known to say, that it took some time to retrain her hand.


Leonardo da Vinci is one of her favorite renaissance artists and specifically from the study of his sfumato technique of painting is how Cherie learned her craft and perfected the realism genre of her art.


Bringing this talent to Second Life, Cherie attempts to make each photo a work of art.


Her goal is always to get a better result for the client, whether it's in her photography and to achieve a more realistic look , or in her publications and bringing artistic work to the public eye.
